A safe and convenient complex.
Keyless entry system is fabulous. The ground floor unit gave us an easy access to the parking as well as the beautiful grounds.
The barbecue pits are terrific. The surrounding grounds were in terrific shape and well groomed.
The unit itself worked very well for us, however, it was showing its age. The unit was clean and comfortable but the kitchen was somewhat disorganized.
All in all, PMI is terrific to deal with, Kamaole Sands is a great complex and we would definitely stay in 1-102 again.

PMI Maui's Kamaole Sands Unit 2-105 is sunny, with ocean view.
Enjoyable couple weeks in November with excellent weather. Very comfortable quiet unit looks out on a beautiful grassy park-like setting with fountains in a small lake. We had everything we needed and PMI Maui solved a couple small problems we had within minutes. Close to Kamaole 3 and a local bus stop with free buses during our stay! Maui Bus app is very useful.

Great Stay!
We had a great stay here. Location was fantastic.- close to the pool and the beach with ground floor being so convenient for the kids to play on the grass. PMI was very helpful as they provided a few items to help our stay be more comfortable as well as coming to check out an issue we had with the sliding door. Kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed for our stay and they had beach chairs/cooler/umbrella/boogie board/beach toys. Have stayed at this resort many times and this was one of our favourite rooms!

This was a very well equipped and maintained unit that was very convenient and comfortable. Location is great for walking to restaurants, shops, day trips, and snorkel adventures. It has great beach items available and the kitchen is very well equipped with cooking items and utensils. PMI Maui does a great job with booking adn registration - it was seamless and they took care of a minor issue immediately. Highly recommend this unit and PMI for all Maui rentals.

Amazing location, would highly recommend
My husband and I really enjoyed our stay in this condo. It has everything you need for a comfortable stay and the location truly can't be beat. The grounds are beautifully kept and maintained and its a very short walk to an amazing beach park.

Wonderful stay in Paradise
I gave a rather lengthy review on VRBO. This is a fabulous unit. Nice size. Immaculately clean. Great furnishings and comfortable. Really well stocked including beach chairs and paraphernalia. Tennis courts and grounds are fantastic. View from patio superb. The hosts were fantastic and management staff at condo great too. We had a very late arrival and they were still there to help. I was not crazy about the relatively small, crowded public beach and actually went beaching at my brother's condo. It would have been fine if it were not a public beach. Lots of people at condos went there. I just preferred more solitude. Everything else was superb. We use VRBO a LOT and it was one of the nicest units we have had. You cannot go wrong here with this condo and property. PMI Maui could not have been more thorough and helpful. Just remember, no refunds here though for any reason. Cover yourself with good insurance.

PMI Maui is the best.
We have stayed at Kamaole Sands many times over the years and we like the resort a lot. We have been disappointed with the condition of some of the units but not since we started renting through PMI Maui. They maintain their units meticulously and fix any minor problems instantly.
One problem in 2022, the Wednesday Mai Tai party did not have Mai Tais. Come on Kamaole Sands Resort, step up!

As advertised, or better!!
We had a wonderful time at this condo situated halfway between the pool and the beach. Everything you need for the beach, towels, chairs, cooler. Condo was perfect. PMI very helpful with a couple of minor requests. The peek a boo view of the ocean from the lanai was an added bonus, and the sunsets spectacular. Would highly recommend this property

Amazing piece of paradise
I travel a lot. This was one of the best vacation rentals I’ve stayed at. So clean. Fully stocked. Everything you could need. Right down to the Tupperware to take your lunch to the beach. Fantastic location. Amazing view. I can’t say enough.

Great location, comfortable, and nicely stocked
We stayed July 22 to 30, 2022. The one bedroom with a pullout in the living room was perfect for our needs. Our two teenage sons stayed in the living room on the pullout. The kitchen was nicely stocked with newer appliances and all the cutlery and other cooking tools that we needed.. Our PMI contact, Matthew, was responsive and promptly replaced items as needed (damaged kitchen knives and boogie board). The TVs worked well for downtime, having one in the living room and one in the bedroom. The air conditioning units worked good for combating hot days. In short, we liked the location, three minute walk to a beach, immaculate grounds, unbelievably clean barbeque facilities, tennis courts, and swimming pool with lots of seating. The view from the lanai was gorgeous! A must to have your early morning coffee and soak up the immaculate grounds. If we had to find something to comment on, the decor could possibly be updated, but this would not take away from the awesome experience.

Excellent stay and play in Maui.
All was great. The Wi-Fi wasn’t working, but we decided it would be nice to disconnect for a week and truly relax. I have no doubt it would have been fixed should we have inquired. We had two “littles” and both the grounds crew and neighbors were very gracious of all that comes with that. Plenty seating and options for pool fun, which is often where these type of properties can disappoint.

Perfect location!
We loved our stay! We went back and forth on paying a bit more for a view and it was worth it. It was so nice to sit every morning and evening on the patio and our little girl could run around in the grass. Bbqs and pool were 2 mins away. The place was fully stocked with beach chairs, cooler anything you needed. It was right across from Kam..park 3. And a short walk to commerce. Would definitely recommend and stay again!

The experience and condo location were excellent. Highly recommend the ground level experience as well. Walk out close proximity to the beach, pool and BBQ a bonus. Thanks for that. Condo was clean but ensuite bathroom is in need of an upgrade. Some Items within the condo need upgrading. Re Beach toys. The umbrella cannot withstand the beach winds and needs an upgrade. Small kids beach toys and balls are in poor shape. Beach chairs are ok. The old larger chair was excellent and appreciated.
Check in/out was easy and appreciated. Lived the security of the place with the security folks making one feel comfortable.
The grounds are so very well maintained, many thanks to the grounds workers.

We spent 8 days at the condo and it had everything that we needed. Just a short walk to the beach and a beautiful, quiet complex. We were missing one cleaning item and the hosts had it at our door within hours. We highly recommend both the condo and PMI Maui.

Quiet part of the complex!
We have stayed at Kamaole Sands four times in the last 7 years, and this unit was the quietest condo that we have rented there. Ground floor made it easy to slip out and use the BBQ and the lawn was a natural extension of the lanai. Would not hesitate to rent there again! The condo was clean and comfortable and the complex was nicely groomed. We stayed there from Nov 28th to Dec 9th and it was fun to watch the decorating that was taking place in anticipation of Xmas. Matt was very easy to work with and answered our questions promptly, great customer service! Nice complex for children!

Our experience at Kamaole Sands was exceptional. The location, condition of the property and staff assistance was outstanding. The grounds and pool area are immaculate . The BBQs and eating areas are very clean and well used. The Condo was very well equipped and clean. A great bed and nice furniture. Really felt like home right from the first night. A quiet location close to the beach and great restaurants within walking distance. Absolutely as advertised or better in all respects. PMI and Matt went out of their way to ensure everything was to our liking and issues delt with immediately. Very professional.

A Wonderful Week
During our recent business/leisure trip we choose to stay in the Kihei area. Our stay at Kamaole Sands 1-102 were wonderful. The room walked out on the beautiful grounds and was just steps away from the BBQ area and the beach. The room was very well equiped. Everything you needed to go to the beach was available. Boogie boards, snorkel gear, beach chairs and umbrella. So many other items! The room was clean and modern. We had 90 degree weather so the AC was a plus. We would stay here again.

Great location. Short walk to the beach and the pool. Well equipped kitchen.
PMI provided us with two pack&plays which worked well for us.
We had a few minor issues (blinds, lock), but PMI was quick to come by and fix it.
Definitely recommend PMI and this apartment.

I enjoyed staying at Kamaole Sands unit # 1-102. It is nicely updated and furnished, has a well-equipped kitchen, and a very comfortable bed. It is one of the cleanest condos I've stayed in at Kamaole Sands. This ground floor unit is located in one of the best spots in the complex.

Condo 1-102 was perfect for our family of four! It was clean, and fully stocked. We loved that it was right across the street from the beach (Kamaole 3), and had a beautiful pool just a few steps away from our lanai. We will definitely be booking this condo again!!!

Great location at Kamaole Sands! This was our second time here at Kamaole Sands and will definitely be back. Great place for families. The property management company is fantastic to deal with, Matt is very responsive to any issues and requests and we will not hesitate renting a property that PMI manages again. The unit was well-appointmented, they could use new linens/towels and additional cleaning supplies.

This condo was amazing. It had everything you needed from a fully stocked kitchen to a recreation closet that had all the boogie boards, beach chairs and coolers. There was a very nice view to the ocean from the lanai. The only thing I would note is the pull out couch is horrible. To sit on and especially as a bed. That's the only reason I gave 4 stars on property condition. Everything else is absolutely perfect. I have stayed in many units at Kamaole Sands and I would definitely say it's one of the best.

Overall, a great experience! We’ve stayed at the Kamaole Sands before and love this spot! This unit was satisfactory, however, compared to our last stay (different unit) it could use a bit of an upgrade with the amenities in the kitchen. It provided most items that would be needed, however the quality was poor. That being said, the unit was clean, comfortable and welcoming in every other way! I would stay at this unit again.

Exactly what I wanted
Such a wonderful and comfortable stay for my first time in Maui. Literally across the street from the beautiful beaches and sunsets. The pool was fun too. Our unit came stocked with boogie boards/chairs/beach balls/ and even sunscreen!! Everything was made very easy for us. Would definitely rent again and I would highly recommend this to friends and family in the future.

Very nice location in Kihei, unit was very clean though getting dated. Beautiful grounds, very comfortable pool area. Vintage 1980's design (long narrow hallways, narrow doorways - but that's just how things were build in the day). Air conditioning unit in living room was OK (though loud), but no help for the bedroom at the other end of the unit. Regardless, thought it was good value for the money and would stay there again.

This unit is wonderful. The proximity of the condo to the beach, pool and BBQs was perfect! Dealing with Matt was so easy and he always answered our questions before and during our holiday quickly. This unit was incredibly well stocked with both kitchen supplies and beach gear. The king size bed was comfy and the flooring throughout the unit made it easy to keep clean with all the sand from the beach. I hope Unit 1-102 is loved by others as much as we loved it!

Wonderful experience - this condo had everything one would need. It was clean upon arrival. Lanai on grassy field in the front, steps from the beach and a BBQ station. Bed in the bedroom was plush and comfortable - plenty of towels and linens. Wifi worked great.

Yes, this was paradise!
This unit was ideal for our purposes, in a prime location in the resort, and beautifully maintained. We enjoyed the proximity to the barbecues, and the space for grandchildren to play. The availability of beach equipment in the unit was a plus, as was the provision of ample cleaning and laundry supplies. Dealing with Matt from PMI Maui was a pleasure.
