Quiet home away from home
Stayed in Kamaole Sands for a great get away and would highly recommend this unit
The location is perfect, walking distance to restaurants and a great beach right across streets
The unit has a very comfortable bed and the kitchen had all the necessary stuff to cook meals.

Beautiful Views. Excellent Grounds. Condo clean and nicely appointed but dated. Beach chairs and umbrella a plus. Welcome treats were appreciated. A/C was lacking, bedroom was warm.

Great stay at Kamaole Sands
This was our first time staying in Kihei. This condo was just as described. Loved that it was in the building closest to ocean. The road was busy and close but the fountains right outside the balcony were running all day and evening so blocked out road noise. Had no issues with loud neighbors. Grounds were beautiful. Condo was very well stocked and very comfortable. We like to snorkel so went to different beaches every day and although when we were there, the snorkeling conditions were not ideal, we still managed to find some nice places to snorkel nearby. Walking distance to many restaurants. One of our favorites was Cafe A Lei.

relaxing vacation spot
well appointed condo! My mother in law stayed here during a multi family vacation and had everything she needed!
One thing to be aware of, the patio furniture is bar height and was a little difficult for someone with a bad knee to relax at.

Great Location for Families
Clean and safe. Walk across the beach in 2 minutes. Comfortable and fully stocked kitchen. Lots of beach items you can use as well. I would stay again! Easy check in and check out process.

First trip to Maui
I highly recommend staying at this condo. We had a great view of the ocean every day and enjoyed sitting on the lanai with our coffees each morning. It was great to have beach chairs and umbrella available for the short walk across the street to kamaole beach 3. Great location near shops and food. Easy to check in (the people at the front desk were very kind) and check out (used the app).

Very comfortable; not large but adequate with everything you need. A/C was a plus but not really needed with prevailing winds and screens. PMI was very helpful with a few internet issues; stayed right on it until resolved.

nice place to stay
The grounds are beautiful, the unit was very clean, and the proximity to the beach, restaurants and stores were fabulous. The only negatives were the ceiling fans; one was only set on low while the other one was only set on high. The seating on the balcony shows different chairs than are actually there. The chairs were for a high top and I am short so these are hard for me to not only get into and out of but are also not comfortable to sit in. However, everything else was really wonderful and would stay there again.

Very roomy for two people. Very short walk to Kam III beach park. Nice view of courtyard/fountains and beach across the street. Clean and well stocked. Good boogie boards (not busted up cheap ones), beach chairs, and cooler for use on the beach.

Great location and view from the lanai was fantastic. We really appreciated being able to use the beach chairs and boogie boards!

Fantastic Condo
We have stayed at a number of condos in Kamaole Sands and this one was wonderful. Extremely well stocked if you are planning to cook meals at the condo. The lanai has a beautiful view which we enjoyed every day. The unit was also very clean and well kept

Great Stay!
This place is great! The unit was extremely well equipped with everything we needed to have a great vacation! This includes AC units, fully equipped kitchen, beach chairs, umbrella, beach toys and even coolers to keep your snacks cold to enjoy the beautiful beach! Matt was awesome & provided a quick turnaround for check-in which we greatly appreciated!

It was a real treat working with Matt from PMI. I needed a very last minute booking and he was able to find us a condo that was just perfect. It was clean, well stocked and well maintained and has gorgeous ocean views.

Great Location Maui getaway
The Condo is in great location just across the beach and a block from restaurants and shops. There are many beach chairs, surf boards and umbrellas in the storage, which is a big help. The only downside was there was no air conditioning in the bedroom. It got very hot at night especially the bathroom in the bedroom.

Kehei Condo
The condo was perfect for our small family. View from the balcony was amazing with views of the ocean. We bbq'd every night down at the super nice Webber gas grilles, walked across the street to the beach and park. the Condo had all the amenities we could ask for from cooking utensils to beach chairs, ice chests and beach toys. The only down side was one little window AC in the living room but with the cool ocean breezes at night we could cool the condo down fairly well. We would definitely come back due to the convenient location next to shopping and nearby beaches.

Nice condo with garden and ocean views.
Kamaole Sands Resort is a well-maintained condominium complex near the beach in southern Kihei. This unit is conveniently located on the second floor. The terrace overlooks the expansive gardens and you can see the ocean a short distance away. It is nicely furnished and it has a fully equipped, updated kitchen. On our first night, we enjoyed the best Mexican food ever in a nearby restaurant called Fred’s and went back the next morning for a delicious breakfast. After that, we bought all our food at the amazing Hawaiian Moons Natural Foods market, and cooked breakfasts and dinners at home. The only negative for us was the lack of cross-ventilation in the bedroom. The unit has a ceiling fan, but that is not enough to cool down the room at night. The small window opens only half way, and you have to keep the blinds mostly closed, because it is on a public walkway where people can see into the bedroom, even as you get up to go to the bathroom at night. The A/C unit is at the other end of the apartment and none of that air flows into the bedroom. We also found the bed to be very uncomfortable – super soft and unevenly worn. We partially resolved that by removing the top layers of foam for the duration of our stay. Otherwise, we enjoyed the location of Kamaole Sands Resort, which is in a friendly neighborhood across from Kamaole Beach Park III, close to shops north of it and to the Wailea and Makena beaches further south.

I’ve stayed at many condos in the area. This one has all the amenities that you would expect. Building closest to Kam 3 grassy area. Only downside for us was no air conditioning in the bedroom.

We enjoyed this unit and location. Had a couple of maintenance/wear issues but our island contacts were very prompt and helpful with those. Needs newer beach chairs and some snorkel gear. Kitchen supplies were outstanding.

Maui you never disappoint!
West enjoyed our stay in Maui, we have been 9 times over the last few years . The condo was absolutely right on point. Tons of towels, chairs, great view, kitchen was amazing, everything we needed. It is the best condo we have stayed in. The gardens are so beautiful in this complex with the fountains right out front. Just across from the beach so convenient to all amenities. We will definitely be back and most definitely highly recommend.

Wonderful Vacation Condo!
I've rented dozens of times in South Kihei/Wailea over the years and I'm now sold on Kamaole Sands (my first rental experience there). Kamaole Sands is a great condo complex in great location in South Kihei. This particular unit is fantastic and reasonably priced. Comfy beds, stocked kitchen, great partial ocean view. In one of the best buildings in the complex (10). Matt at PMI Management is thoughtful and prompt in his responses. Perfect for single, a couple or a couple with one/two kids sleeping on living room sofa bed. Great cross breeze, never used the AC. Bedroom (located in rear of apartment) gets a little noise from tenants coming home but minor.

Lovely, comfortable condo
Rental arrangements were very well organized. The condo it's self was quite lovely. A bit out-dated but VERY clean and the perfect amount of Hawaiian flair. The hide-a-bed was a bit hard to sleep on. Overall we loved the setting, but would opt for a ground floor next time considering we have to kids.

A good break after a hectic year.
We love the location of the Kamaole Sands - right across the road from the beach and reasonably close to everything. Building 10 has views of the sunset right off the Lanai. This is our fourth stay at this complex and will probably not be the last. Everything we needed for the beach - chairs, towels, and toys were there. We ate most of our meals in and the kitchen was well equipped with the necessary appliances.

Great space, well equipped updated unit and across from beach!
Our family of four spent two weeks in condo #406 in building 10 and found it super comfortable, supplied with everything we needed and with a super view of the amazing gardens, pool and the beach. We enjoyed breakfast on the lanai, used the boogie boards, chairs and towels supplied, at the beach and barbecued at the resorts immaculately clean bbq stations on the grounds. The pool was a good size and the hot tubs well maintained. Great space and location for a family trip to Maui. Our tweens loved the tiny lizards, pools, hot tubs and smoothies on the pool deck and snorkeling at the many nearby beaches. Shops and restaurants were only a short walk away. Would recommend this vacation rental - booking, payments and communication with the owner/agent Matt, all went smoothly too.
