Clean and well-maintained unit, kitchen re-modelled with up-to-date appliances. Location ideal, just across street from Kamaloe Beach Park III, small shopping centre a few minutes' walk, good snorkelling 20 minutes' drive.

A little slice of paradise
We’ve stayed at Kamole Sands numerous times before, and this was easily amongst the best we’ve enjoyed. The views from the unit are wonderful, it had everything we could have possibly needed as far as appliances/dishes/etc, and it was probably the best-cleaned condo we’ve rented there. The AC was able to keep the unit at a perfectly comfortable temp, and the internet was fast. We would absolutely consider this unit again for future visits.

Vacation in Paradise
Perfect place to stay in Maui!Steps from the beach and walking distance to all the great restaurants. The condo had everything you need. Beach chairs, umbrellas, wagon cart etc. Magical balcony and more. We stay here every year!

Kamaole Sands a great place to stay in Maui
The property at Kamaole Sands is very good overall. Beautiful gardens and well kept grounds and 3 pools to choose from. Our unit ticked all the boxes. It was clean and everything worked fine. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed for cooking. The beds were comfortable and Ac worked well. The view from our balcony over looking the water was a great spot each afternoon to view the sunset.

Can’t wait to go back!
The condo was clean, nicely decorated, and well-accommodated. The view was perfect - we could see the beautiful sunsets as well as the grounds.
We love the area. Easy access to other parts of the island. We always enjoy the food at Lava Rock and Izakaya Genbe. We would also recommend Cafe O’LEI and Coconuts.
If you want to visit other places, we recommend Paia and Makawao (The Cookie Lady!!).
We wouldn’t change a thing, and we look forward to going back next year!

Fantastic place - exceeded our high expectations
This is a lovely, top-floor apartment with a beautiful deck-view of the ocean and Kamaole Beach Park. Our family especially appreciated the beach supplies on hand for our stay. Updated kitchen is in pristine condition and we enjoyed cooking dinners together in the evening while watching the sunset. The whole floor is tiled which made inevitable sand clean up super easy. Overall a beautiful stay in a quiet, extremely comfortable location and we wouldn’t hesitate to return again. Thank you for letting us be here during our Maui trip!

Perfect spot in Kihei on Kam III
Loved the excellent accommodations where is almost never rains. Condo and resort was in perfect shape. Missed the Wednesday mai-tais but still visited with other guests around the BBQ areas.

We loved this place. Set up was perfect. Very close to beach. Walking distance to many restaurants and shops.
With 4 people between 17 and 22, entertainment being close was great, and having a kitchen big enough for all of us.
Would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful rental at Kihei
Although the condition of the properti is impeccable, its location is the best we could think of. So close to the beach, top floor, and wonderful views of sunsets.
The rental also has all you need for a perfect vacation - from all kitchen utencils to beach chairs, towels and suscreens.
We highly recommend this condo to everybody.

Excellent location!
This condo is in an ideal location with beautiful views of the ocean. It's located within walking distance of amazing beaches and great restaurants. You simply have to walk across the street to snorkel or boogie board. The condo itself is aesthetically very nice with many extras and amenities, new appliances and an open plan. Unfortunately one drawback to the open plan is that the master bedroom upstairs has open walls to the downstairs so has little privacy and can be noisy when someone is downstairs and you're trying to sleep. Overall, I would highly recommend it but this open plan is something to keep in mind if privacy or quiet is important to you.
The property owners/managers were very responsive. We had issues with people taking our parking spot and every time we called they immediately found us another parking spot. This service was amazing.

Family Getaway Condo
Condo unit was perfect for our family of 4. Everything you need and a nice location. We have 2 teen boys and needed to eat most of our meals in. The kitchen was a nice size and had an island for even more space. Loved the outside table for my morning coffee and eating throughout the day. Really only needed the air conditioning at night otherwise was comfortable with just the back door open. Property management was prompt and helpful with any questions or situations that came up during our stay. I would definitely recommend to my friends and family.

Great Place
The room was great. It had everything a family would need for both in the room and for a beach day. When the kids woke up, it was hard to get sleep in the loft bedroom as all the noise travelled up there. The lanai had great views of the ocean. The location was awesome with an amazing beach right out front and very central. We would stay there again!

Fantastic Stay
Probably the best endorsement I can make for the place is that we'll definitely rent this unit again when we come back. It was a perfect combination of location (short walk across the street to the beach!) and condo amenities that were just perfect. The beach chairs, beach umbrellas, and body-boards (and other items) available to use at the beach were well appreciated.
The breeze in the condo did wonders for keeping the place cool, and for the short times of day when the air conditioning was needed (usually early in the evening when the wind died down), the main AC worked very well to cool the large open space near the front, and the smaller AC unit in the bedroom in the back was great to keep the rear bedroom nice and cool at night.
Communication with the property managers was spectacular, you really can't ask for anything more - if we needed anything, they were quick to help and respond.
We highly recommend this rental!

First Class - Home From Home
The condo was absolutely superb. Exactly 'as advertised' with regards to the description and photos! We chose it specifically because it was top floor (don't like to hear people walking above us!) and split level with two bedrooms. It is equipped with everything you need (apart from a kettle for us that like our tea :-) ), right down to boogie boards, snorkels, and beach chairs. The beds were comfortable, bathrooms clean and functional (no issues with shower temperature or pressure), enough bathroom and beach towels to rival Ikea and the TV/cable/Wifi service top notch to keep our two teenagers satisfied. The location of the condo in Building 10 gives excellent views of the beach and West Maui, and is a short walk through the gardens to the pool area. The beach is also the same distance away across a (fairly) quiet street – the sunsets and swimming with the turtles are highlights that will stick with us for a long time.
I contacted (by email) property management twice with trivial/non-urgent queries (e.g. couldn’t find the broom). In both instances there was someone at the door in about 10 minutes to help!!!
I am struggling to think of any negatives; at a push, and being very petty they would be; 1) if the AC is on the lanai close to the closet becomes virtually unusable due to the heat generated, 2) I was woken up several times at 5am by “Aloha Waste” coming to empty the garbage (obviously not a condo issue).
All in all highly recommended – we will be back!

We absolutely loved our stay! Waking up to have coffee on the lanai with great ocean view. Perfect location for all the areas we enjoyed visiting. Short walk to the beach where we swam with turtles and had great snorkeling. We had immediate service for a fix of a light and TV. The unit was perfect and easy to keep clean with 3 little kids. There were 30 of us all together staying at the property and we all decided our unit was the perfect one. We are already planning our next trip so it will b a race to get this unit first!!! Terrific Location!
Great location. Centrally located for day trips to other parts of the island. SO close to the beach! (Kam III). Great sunset views from the lanai. Lanai closet fully stocked with EVERYTHING you could possibly need for a family day at the beach. Condo clean and well maintained. Would absolutely stay here again.

Family Christmas Vacation!
We had an amazing time at Kamaole Sands.The property description was accurate and the pictures were exactly what was there. There were boogie boards supplied which was great! The property was clean and well maintained and PMI was incredible to deal with. If something was needed they responded right away. We loved the snorkeling right across from the unit! We saw so many turtles and whales! Loved Sensei for sushi, Coconuts for Fish tacos and Monkey Pod for Happy hour! We also did the zip line and went to the island of Lanai on a snorkeling trip and saw a pod of spinner dolphins! We would definitely recommend PMI and this unit to a friend. (the only caution on this unit was you can sometimes hear a little bit of traffic from the road - but the location and also hearing the ocean waves makes up for it! :)

The BEST Place to Stay on Maui
Our stay at Kamaole Sands on Maui was EXCELLENT! I have nothing but good things to say about the resort and about Matt at PMI Maui!
We arrived early on Maui and Matt did everything he could to get us in to the condo early. This was a huge help to us and a great start to our trip! The condo was beautiful and clean, the king bed was very comfy too! Plus, a washer and dryer in the condo. And the view!!! The beach view is right off the lanai. In fact, Condo 10-406 is closer to the beach than the resort pool. And the beach, sea turtles are right on Kamaole Beach III.
We did have one issue while staying, the previous guests did not let PMI Maui know that the Boogie Boards were broken. Our first day at the beach we found this out, I emailed Matt and the next morning we had brand new Boogie Boards!
Kamaloe Sands resort amenities: The pool and hot tub were nice. The pool game room had a Ping-Pong table and foosball table; these closed at 6pm which was a bummer, it would have been nice to send the teen kids down in the evening. The gym looked nice, we never used it though. There is a huge grass area to play frisbee or catch. The gas BBQ’s were an awesome asset! The guest relations/trip coordinators were very helpful and did not try to push trips down your throat, which was very nice. The resort is very quiet, not a party resort. It is set up for families.
We did both Ohau and Maui on this trip. Maui is such a better island. Maui has more of the island feel, everyone is more laid back and no traffic. If you are trying to choose which island to go to, pick Maui. Pick Kamaloe Sands to stay at. Pick Matt at PMI Maui to be your host.

This rental was extremely comfortable. The view was fantastic. We could see the beach and the fountains in the complex's yard. Seeing the sunsets each night was breathtaking. The condo had everything we needed, very comfortable beds and it felt like home. The décor was perfect, it wasn't cluttery, or over done. We would definitely want to rent this same condo again.

Family Vacation Fun
I booked this condo for my Family vacation. It was very clean and comfortable. The beach amenities were in great shape and provided us allowed all we needed at the beach.
The Property Manager Matt was very responsive and polite in fixing a light that went out.
I would recommend this condo as an excellent location to stay with a short walk to the beach for sunsets.
