This was our third trip to Kamaole Sands and this was the best unit we have stayed at. It was spotless and very well stocked! Great view of the ocean and a nice large covered deck. Rental staff were great as well. We will be staying here again.

Very clean and comfortable unit. Great for our little family. It had everything we needed for our vacation. The ensuite bathroom also has a tub which is rare in this complex and was great for giving our baby baths. And as always, Matt from PMI provided excellent customer service.

Terrific family friendly condo
We rented this condo as overflow for family over Christmas. It was perfect for a grandma and a toddler, ground floor with easy access to grass for running and playing. Very comfortable and well maintained - even better than the photos. Many thanks!

Perfect Maui Vacation
Thoughtfully appointed with everything you may need for a beach vacation. PMI was wonderful with plenty of information about the condo and check in information. The condo had a helpful guide and everything you may need for the beach(Chairs, cooler, umbrella). We loved how comfortable the bed was and the kitchen has everything you may need to cook. We loved our stay with PMI and look forward to coming back!

Another amazing Maui vacation thanks to PMI Maui!
Maui is a regular vacation destination for our family. Up until discovering Matt and PMI Maui, it was a bit hit and miss as far as renting a condo for our stays. Since finding PMI, we haven’t dealt with anyone else. I was always amazed by the consistency of the high quality of the units we have rented through Matt, whether 1 bedroom or 2 bedroom, at Kamaole Sands, year after year after year. There has been no “slipping” in their standards over the years, from what I have experienced. Any issue (and there was only one very minor one) was dealt with immediately and very happily. Matt proved how easy he is to deal with through honouring a cancelled “covid trip”, and being tremendously flexible in allowing us to use a deposit from 2020 and on short notice, which I appreciated so much! Our stay this year was perfection. The unit (2-105), was very clean and well equipped with boogie boards, beach chairs, and a beach umbrella. The kitchen had high quality dishes, pots/pans and appliances and even lots of condiments, laundry detergent, and a bag of ground Maui coffee for the first morning! We had always stayed on the upper floors in past years, and this was our first time in a ground floor unit due to low availability when we booked, and it actually turned out to be our favourite unit with a large lanai, very comfortable deck furniture and very easy access for luggage, parking, pool visits, etc. Kamaole Sands has a nice pool area, is across the street from Kam 1,2,3 Beaches, which we frequented for sunset swims, and is in very close proximity to lots of other amazing beaches, including our favourite, Ulua Beach in Wailea. It’s easy walking distance to a small shopping mall that has shave ice, ice cream, basic supplies and an awesome restaurant called Coconuts Fish Cafe. Excellent stay
This was a great stay for us, location in the city was excellent. A lot of food in short driving distance nearby. Free parking right outside the unit. Complex was well maintained and had a nice pool area. The unit had air conditioning (it was a little noisy when turned on, but that was better than not having AC) and the shower water pressure was very good which is huge plus for me. I would recommend this property to friends.

This is an excellent condo that is well-kept and is a part of a great condo complex overall. Right across the road (walking distance) from the beach and in close proximity to multiple nice restaurants. Clean new bbq grills on the property, which is extremely well-maintained. The management team was very responsive and accommodative. Check in and check out were a breeze.

Great stay for a family of four!
We enjoyed our stay at the condo! It was great that is was ground level and we could just walk out and enjoy the property. Both the pool and beach were super close and within walking distance. The condo provided everything we needed! It was clean, spacious and would recommend.

This is a lovely unit with everything you need for an enjoyable stay. It was very clean and updated. Maui was unseasonably warm during our stay so the add'l air conditioning in the bedroom was a welcome feature. This is a ground floor unit which makes it handy to the beach and the pool and visiting with family next door! We would definitely stay here again.

The condo was clean and well appointed.
A couple of issues that may require some attention:
The air conditioner in the living room area had a very loud squealing sound, it sounded like a bearing was wearing out or the fan blade was rubbing against the interior of the conditioner.
The TV remote or the TV itself wouldn’t allow you to change channels one at a time, it would always jump a channel so you were only able to go up or down two channels at a time.
The WIFI kicked out on me a couple of times and the front desk was able to transfer me to the provider of the service and on both occasions they were able to correct the problem. They told me the WIFI kept returning to the default setting.

Property was as advertised, no surprises. Exceptionally clean My family felt comfortable & at home from the beginning. There were no negatives here which can set the tone of the vacation since the first thing you do after a long journey is check into your accomodation. PMI reps Matt & Tonya were extremely friendly & helpful with any questions about the area. IE, suggested sites to see, beaches busy or low key,rough or calm waters, places to shop, options on where to attend a local church etc. They were often on site inspecting units prior to new guest check ins. In quick conversations, It is quite evident their expectations as to Quality are as high as their guests.

Lava Fields hike, Waihee Ridge trail was also a great hike with scenic views, you go until you reach the clouds, Road to Hana, Sunrise at Halaekula, Lanaina was a great town, the famous blow hole & heart shaped rock were close by.. Kamaole had you right in the middle. The days we were not out far, we were right on the South Kihei road which is where you will find everything you need. Would definitely recommend!

Perfect Getaway
This was our second time staying with PMI Maui. Just as the first time, we were very pleased with the condo. It was spacious, comfortable, clean, beautifully decorated, and had everything in it that we needed to make our stay complete. The property was quiet but our kids could still be kids at it playing on the grounds and pool! The pool and grounds are wonderful, too! There are many BBQ’s and walking paths with beautiful landscaping. It is located perfectly within walking distance of Maui’s best beaches and fabulous dining and shopping. I will book with PMI Maui again in a heartbeat- they are very easy and professional to work with!

This is our second time staying at Kamaole Sands and will definitely be back. The condo provides all the conveniences of home but with a much better view. We especially like having access to the BBQ stations so that you don't have to dine out every night. The condo is nicely equipped with all the beach gear you will need (beach towels, chairs, Boogie Boards, and other sand toys) that you can pack light and relax.
Having grown up on the west side of the island, I've really come to appreciate how centrally located Kihei is for a vacation destination. My wife and I highly recommend to anyone looking for a great vacation, to book your reservation with PMI right away.

Kamaole 2-105 and the complex were amazing. The condo is updated with beautiful decor, and has everything you’d hope for and more. Parking access is easy for loading and unloading. The kitchen is fully stocked with cookware and utensils. Everything about staying here was easy - from booking to check out. The location was perfect to walk back and forth to the beach, and early morning walks to coffee shops, deli, and restaurants. It truly felt like a home away from home, and we would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful rental unit. For just two people it couldn’t be a better unit. Love the ground floor. No going up & down the elevator. Private patio and much larger than other units. Very clean and wonderfully updated with nice taste in furniture. Just couldn’t get the sound bar to work with the TV but not a big deal. The bedroom could use a sound bar on the TV. Could not get WiFi in the bedroom. Could use a booster in the hallway. Do need to squeegy the glass shower after every use is kind of a pain. Has a low water volume washing machine which does not clean clothes very well. With all the water wasted outside on the grounds a low volume water unit seems pointless? First world problems! Love this unit would recommend to everyone. Well stocked with everything you would need. Must keep your kitchen/bathrooms clean being a ground unit due to these small, very tiny ant/bug things. Your in the tropics to be expected. Love all the sounds of the tropical birds in the morning it’s awesome. Kamaole Sands in Kehei is a great location on the island you will love it there. Swam with turtles everyday right outside your door!

We stayed on the ground floor, and even though we would have liked a condo with an ocean view, the Lanai was quite big and flowed out to the lawn. It was large enough for the whole family and the one night we ate in we were able to all gather for a BBQ and games.

Second Time
This was my second time at this condo and we had a great time. I took my son and grandson neither of witch had ever been to Maui. This location was ideal close to the beach and pool. I will be back I am sure. I want to give 5 stars all around but the stars don't seem to be lighting up.

Family Celebration
I was celebrating my 70th birthday with 12 of my family andfriends. My unit was 2-105 and I loved it!! It was beautifully decorated, kitchen was fully equipped and I was impressed with all the beach equipment from toys to chairs, umbrellas, buggie boards and towels.I loved the large lani washer dryer in unit and the BBQ area. I would recommend this property to anyone looking to stay in a condo and of course would definitely stay here again.

It was a truly home away from home for a vacation spot. The location of the condo, the view, and landscaping were beautiful, the best part of all is the sandy beach just a few steps away, surrounding by the water activities and good restaurants. Perfect condo for our Maui anniversary trip!
This was our first trip to Hawaii, and this condo helped to make it an awesome experience. The condo was exactly as pictured. The kitchen was well-equipped (loved having a blender to make daily smoothies) as was the lanai (beach chairs, umbrella, and boogie boards came in handy). Everything was in working order, and we often used the washer, dryer, and dishwasher. We especially loved the ground floor level, and the walk to the beach was less than 3 minutes. The location in Kihei was also ideal as we visited many different sites on the island. Management was easy to work with, and check-in and check-out were very smooth. This will likely be our "go-to" place when we return, and we will! Thanks for a fantastic place to enjoy Maui!

Our stay was excellent and as usual, Matt and Tonya did an excellent job preparing the unit for our stay. The AC in the Bedroom was great and was quite compared to the other unit we stayed out the week before. Overall, highly recommend this unit. great views and 30 seconds away from bar-B-Q cook area and 45 seconds away from Pool, yet nicely secluded, no noise from either. Beautiful lanai with large table for seating 4-6 guests. Overall loved the location and we will come back again!

We enjoyed our stay at Kamaole sands once again! Our condo was so nice! The kitchen was well equipped with everything you need. We really liked being on the first floor where you can walk out on the lanai and was really close to the pool. The kids had a blast and loved all the toys in the lanai closet. The king sized bed was comfortable and the condos decor was nice too. Can't wait to come back!

We had an amazing vacation highlighted by our first rate accommodation in building 2-105. The unit is very private and conveniently situated near the barbecue area. It was clean, great bed, well stocked kitchen and had fantastic beach chairs. Manager 'Matt' is very attentive and readily available if you have any concerns.

Kamaole Sands 2-105
We had a great stay at this condo - everything was clean, the complex and grounds were well maintained, and the location was perfect. Being on the ground floor made access to the pool and bbq area convenient; the units are set up nicely to provide privacy on the lanai from neighboring ground floor units.
Kamaole 3 beach is right across the street, and there were a few restaurants a short walk away. If you've rented a car - there are many more beaches and shops close by!
