We've stayed in this unit multiple times over the last 15 years. It has been maintained well and every time we go back we see some updating/improvements. We like this development and the unit is in a good location within the development.

Get Away Grandparents Stay
Great spot, could see the Ocean and Sunsets each night!
Walk/Run every morning, snorkel after run. Best to snorkel early morning. Saw lots of turtles. We have been coming to Kamaole Sands for years. We like building 5, 3rd or 4th level. Paia Fish Market favorite place. We order out, pick and go back to condo to eat. Short hikes, drove to Kahului and North Shore. Our property manager is great. The staff at Kamaole are so friendly, kind and helpful.

Great place!
Great location, ocean view, clean, easy check in/out. The condo had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. We would stay there again. The pool and hot tub were nice and the beach across the street was nice.

Great Kamaole Rental
This is our second stay at Kamaole Sands. We prefer the bottom floor units, however this one was quite lovely and peaceful. Unit is very clean and has all the beach gear you need - towels, boogie boards, cooler, umbrella! We did a lot of cooking and while the untensils and appliances were great, the pots and pans were not. But we used the community grills quite a bit, which was lovely. PMI is amazing to work with. Hopefully we'll be back next year. Mahalo

Beautiful Condo and View
The condo was spotless and had everything you needed to enjoy your stay. It was definitely home away from home. We cooked breakfast there a few days and the kitchen was well equipped with everything. The view from the lenai was so beautiful, green well maintained grounds, palm trees and the ocean! It was a very comfortable and spacious condo. Loved the fact that they have everything you need for a beach day, chairs, umbrella, cooler, towels. It’s also the perfect location with many restaurants in the area and easy drive to various beaches if you want to explore other than the beach across the street, which is beautiful and convenient. We miss it already and we’ll definitely stay here again in the future!!

beautiful condo in paradise
we loved our stay. the condo is clean, nicely updated, and includes lot of little touches to make you feel at home. we loved eating on the lanai with the ocean view. the location was also great - a short walk to beaches, shops and restaurants, and an easy drive to anywhere you want to be in Maui. we would definitely stay here again!

Great place to stay
Everything was as expected. There were plenty of items for us to use between laundry detergent, kitchen supplies, beach towels and chairs, we just opened the door and enjoyed the week.

We had a fabulous time in maui for our 10th anniversary. We stayed at Kamaole Sands in room 5-315, renting through PMI maui is always a great experience. Matt is always very helpful with anything you need, room was extremely clean, views were fantastic and the office staff at Kamaole were great. It was well equipped with everything we needed and we were very pleased. Thanks again PMI MAUI for experience

Our stay at kamaole sands was great!
Right from entering (we were able to drop off some food/refrigerated items early) we felt welcomed and the condo was very clean!
We felt comfortable putting our baby down to crawl around right from the get go.
We also thought the condo looked better and more updated in person than in the pictures! The cleaner had also set up the play pen for us so we were good to go for nap time right when we got there.
There are many beach & pool accessories to use which is a huge plus. The pool area was great. There was a keiki (kiddie) pool which was perfect for us with our baby. There is an ocean view from the condo kitchen, living room and lanai. There is a well working ac unit in the bedroom and another one in the living room so you can stay cool throughout the condo.
It was wonderful having laundry in the unit and a second bathroom.
All in all, my husband and I felt very comfortable here. We felt like it was home for the week we were there. When we packed up and left, he said “it feels like we are leaving our home.”
The owners are top notch! They are very accommodating, communicative and respond promptly. We would highly recommend this unit to anyone and would love to come back sometime!

We loved this unit
I wasn’t sure whether this property would be nice, since it’s large and on the older side, and is an individually owned condotel. Luckily my sister had experience with a property management firm that handles several units, and she pointed me to their options. We ended up in a gorgeous, totally stocked and comfy apartment with everything we could possibly need. The management company, PMI, was immediately responsive and helpful. The property was lovely, grounds well maintained. Because it was a holiday week, there were a couple tiny inconveniences, like a minor miscommunication about our assigned parking spot, and the fact that the shared jacuzzis only accommodated 4 (Covid regulations) so were always “full” —but these were just normal things you would expect from a fully booked large hotel. Overall, it was a great stay, and I would love to return to that exact unit.

Wonderful Stay at Kamaole Sands 5-315
We just returned home from our amazing vacation on Maui! Our return stay at Kamaole Sands 5-315 was excellent. Matt and his team were so accommodating as we had stayed in another unit in building 5 for a few days and we needed to move our items including fridge and freezer items. There was no problem doing this and the housekeeper was also more than happy to accommodate us! We dropped our items a few hours prior to check in and when we arrived back we were greeted to a spotless, clean smelling unit. We felt like we were "home". We would highly recommend booking with PMI Maui,as we had the confidence that we were arriving to a fully stocked, clean, well cared for condo. Kamaole Sands is a beautiful property with gardens that never cease to amaze. And the view from 5-315 was stunning with gorgeous sunset views right from the lanai. We have booked a return trip already for 2021 and we will once again be staying in this beautiful condo! Mahalo again for everything!

Amazing View
Spent 2 weeks in the clean, well appointed condo. It had everything we needed, for supplies, internet connection - very organized. The view is spectacular on the small lanai. Management ( Matt) was most helpful & efficient as usual.

Great home for family esp planning to cook a small meals
We stayed at two different units on this trip, both located at Kam sands and both managed by PMI. With comparison , I have to say we all loved this unit 5-315 way more than our second unit.
This unit may not have the most modern look, however the cleaning team and management did a magnificent job to make sure the unit is spotless.
Why we love this unit:
Abundant of kitchen supplies, their pots and pans are very new, all tfal brand, easy to cook with. Dishes are new and clean. Complete collection of various tools and Utensils. Great glass cooktop and full size oven. (The other unit we stayed at doesn't have an oven, no mini oven) love the fact that they have some Ziploc bags handy.
Overall this unit has everything you possibly need. Nice beach chairs and umbrella , I think there were two beach umbrellas too.nice beach towels and lots of bath towels, more than sufficient. There might be 5-6 sets , they are stored in the drawers in the bathroom.
Disappointment from this unit: toaster didnt work. Mattress are too soft (both the mattress in room and sofa bed) a/c very loud but not a problem as we didn't need to turn it on , this unit has great breeze coming in from balcony ! ( Also more breezy than the other unit we stayed at)
Would be nice if they have bigger washer , and upgrade the shower with a hand held shower head, easier to shower a toddler that way.
I can't comment on BBQ as we didn't do any BBQ during this trip.

We had a great time in Maui staying in this fully equipped condo. Great amenities and very clean and spacious. Comfortable king size bed was great to fall into after days of exploring the island.

A satisfied stay at Kamaole Sands 5-315
Overall this property is better than average, and I will give it a B+. The description on their website is pertinent and appropriated. The only draw back is both air conditioners don't work as good, not providing enough cold air to cool down the whole unit. In short, I have no complaint and for sure will come back as required.

We stayed at Kamaole Sands in the beginning of May during our first trip to Maui and I’m glad we selected it. Everything worked out great with the condo, complex, amenities, location, etc. The beach equipment and toys were great to be able to use while traveling with a family,

Great Location in Kamaole Sands!
This unit is in our favourite building at Kamaole Sands. Having stayed in many units in this complex we love the location of 5-315 as it is close to the pool and the views of the garden are beautiful. The sunset views out to the ocean are spectacular. We are returning once again to Kamaole Sands and this unit in 2020! The unit itself is fully stocked with all items needed in the kitchen. Boogie Boards, beach chairs and a beach cooler help to make your time at the beach great! Comfortable King sized bed and nice linens. We would absolutely recommend this unit in Building 5 of Kamaole Sands!

We really enjoyed this condo. Beautiful property and grounds. Lovely view.
The unit was clean and well taken care of. Our only complaint was the master bed. The mattress is VERY soft and has formed a bit of a trough in the 2 sleeping spots. Otherwise a great stay. Our kids found the sofa bed quite comfortable.

Matt at PMI was very responsive to our needs! The unit was great, loved seeing the ocean view while we had our morning coffee on the lanai. Building 5 was perfectly located near the pool and parking.

Great Experience will definitely be back
The property and property manager were both excellent. The condo was very well appointed and had everything we needed for our family vacation and was conveniently located right across the street from some of the best beaches on Maui. Everything was clean and we would definitely stay again. The property manager was excellent to deal with and prompt to reply to us anytime we had a question or needed anything. Great Experience!!

Comfortable Stay in Good Location
This condo was a good find - accessible to restaurants and the beach is a quick walk across the street. Its comfortable and had a great view for morning coffee and breakfast on the patio.
