We manage many condos at Kamaole Sands, are located within a mile of the resort, and are available 24/7 to our guests. Great space for our group trip
One of the reasons I selected this specific rental was because of the space. There was enough room for everyone in our group of 5 to spread out, not have to wait turns to use a bathroom and also have their allocated space. The location was very central to everything and the rental came with everything we needed. The only downside during our stay was that some of the dishes weren’t clean in the cabinet and the unit does show some signs of age and could benefit from minor updates in the bathroom, mainly. Otherwise our stay was great.

Great place!
This condo was great for family of 4 adults and two children. Well stocked with dishes, bedding etc. comfy beds, nice couch and bath tubs for the kiddos too small to shower! Nice to have view of the pool to see busy times and view of the ocean was great. Location so close to beach and restaurants etc. Matt was very responsive and helped out with change to check-in. Would definitely stay again:)

Fabulous Property in a Perfect Location
Six family members landed in a wonderful rental. The description was spot on with clean bedrooms, bathrooms, and living spaces. Views are outstanding! Pool, hot tubs, and workout spaces were all very clean as well. Just across the road from the beach, the location is spectacular. The property management maintains this rental very well. You could not go wrong staying here.

5 Night Stay
It was an overall great experience with lots of space. We had been staying in hotels before this, so it was nice to have the 3 rooms and 3 bathrooms. One of the bedrooms is a loft, so not great for sleeping in. The pool was good and convenient and you can walk to the beach easily and restaurants/shops are a 10 minute walk away. Also, the property management company was great to work with when I had to make a change to our reservation.

Clean, Quality Condo in a Beautiful Location
The condo was very clean and in an excellent location. The views from both the lanai and back entrance were gorgeous. The kitchen was very well stocked and the 3 bathrooms were clean and perfect for our family of six. (All over the age of 19.). We were able to walk or drive to several beaches and there were some shops within walking distance. The facility was well maintained and very clean. Also, the beds were very comfortable and ac was great. Bonuses: lots of chairs and beach supplies in closet! We highly recommend this over any hotel stay as it was everything we hoped- plus more.

Great Condo!
Kamaole Sands is a great Condo in Kihei. The grounds are well kept, the condo we stayed in was clean and updated. It was a close walk to a great beach. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely go back.

Love the new floor and updates. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook our meals. Well organized drawers and food pantry. Glad to see so many beach towels & chairs for our use. Beach with turtles right across the street.
Restaurants: Fabiani's Fork & Spoons, 808 Deli, favorite Piai Fish Market, lines are long we do takeout!. We go to Kemo's for a special dinner for sunset. Fours Winds for snorkel trip. The older kids go out with Maui Snorkel Charters, use to called The Red Line. Line Raft snorkel. Small pool good for our youngest child. Start early to the BBQ's we cook on them twice each year. The sliding door on the porch was hard to use, called great service. Wailele waterfails right after a heavy rain. Love this place, so good with children.

Perfect for a midsize family!
We celebrated our (XXth) birthdays with a trip to Maui for ourselves, our 3 boys, their wives and our 2 granddaughters. This place was perfect! Clean, roomy, lovely view, and convenient to many Kihei restaurants and beaches. Right around the corner from Wailea as well.

We have stayed at Kamaole Sands several times and have always had a great experience. But, our stay in this condo was exceptional. We had a small issue in the beginning and Matt and Tonya took care of it immediately.
This unit is very well cared for and there are many perks from sand toys and bougie boards to kitchen condiments.
The very best thing about this unit is the view. It is amazing. You have a full ocean view, even from the kitchen.
We were there with 3 couples, and would definitely stay there again.

Great vacation rental in Kihei
We are a family of 8, 3 generations rented the apartment for Christmas. The place is very well stocked in both kitchen and beach time equipments. My kids had so much fun with the boogie boards!
Kamaole sands resort is surprisingly very well organized and beautiful. We used the BBQ area almost every day!
The customer service from PMI is also unbeatable. They always respond to my request instantly and tried their best to accommodate us.
I highly recommend this rental. It’s clean, beautiful and well located.
We hope to return soon!

Perfect Location
I rented this condo for a group of 5 women of varying ages visiting the island for a wedding. The 3 bedrooms and bathrooms were perfect for our group and it could easily accommodate 1 or 2 more if needed. There were lots of supplies for the beach in one of the closets- umbrellas, beach chairs, snorkel gear, and boogie boards. There are lots of beach towels too. The kitchen was lovely, the place was super quiet, and some of the best snorkeling around is just a 5 minute walk across the grounds to the beach.

From the Mountains to the Shining Sea
This rental was perfect for our family - six adults and one child. We spent most of our time across the road at the beach where we swam, snorkeled, kayaked and saw turtles. We walked to restaurants, shopped for gifts and found amazing cinnamon rolls and ice cream. Also enjoyed hula lessons and a class on turtles provided near the pool - pool and hot tubs also added to our wonderful experience. Thank you!

I cannot say enough good things about this unit! The pictures don’t do it justice. It’s been updated more than it shows. There was tons of storage. Blow dryers, flat irons, and curling irons. Amazing beach chairs, toys, umbrellas, and boogie boards. The kitchen was fully stocked with tons of dishes. More than I’ve ever seen in a rental. The AC and fans worked fabulously. Plus the management company was so easy to work with.

This 3 BR, 3 bathroom condo is in a great location across the street from a lovely beach. The unit is nicely renovated and amenities worked well for our group of 5 adults. Nice, fluffy towels, beach chairs, beach umbrella, games, snorkel gear were all included. We enjoyed the pool, hot tub and even grilled in the picnic area. The grills are well maintained and clean.
One note is that the upstairs BR is a loft. There is no door and you can hear everything downstairs. Limited privacy for that room. We also had issues with the ceiling fans not working but the maintenance person responded quickly. We would love to stay here again!

Excellent as always! We arrived late, easy check in. Long table for 8 so we could all eat together. BBQ available, cook many of our meals to eat in. Costco run for food and water. Favorite places to eat Paia Fish Market, Fork & Spoon, Kemo in Lahaine & Fat Cat for hamburgers. We did two snorkel trips, Four Winds & Red Line. Best year ever for whales. Saw more with Red Line then with the other snorkel trip. The beach across the road from Kamaole Sands, great whale watching and turtles this year. We have been coming to Kamaole for years, great for large families. We book two condos next to each other, works well for us. Love the Whale presentation on Monday. Our grandchildren really listen and learn a lot, help them understand the whale and marine life. We saw so many whales in groups perform for us right off the beach from our condo!As always great trip. Thanks Matt for working with us. Delta's Red Eye at 9:20p.m. and the 11:00 a.m. check out makes for a long day . Matt made arrangements for us to stay longer in one of our condo's. It really help a lot! Love the hot tub after a long day on the water. Aloha!

Amazing stay all around
This was our best family VRBO yet on Maui. Had all that we needed. Beautiful ocean views with very short walk to the beach. Super clean and comfortable for our family of 6. Would stay here again hands down. Close to our favorite beaches from Kihei to Makena.

Kamaole Sands is a great affordable spot with safe/easy lodging near Wailea. The condo was super clean with great amenities including A/C for each room, a slew of beach bound gear, and fully functional kitchen with plenty of cooking utensils. The only drawback was that the A/C exhaust blows directly onto the back lanai which made the lanai almost unusable if you had the A/C's running :(

The Great Retreat

The next morning we found the condo well equipped with everything we need. We were thankful for the cooking oil, seasonings, sugar, salt & pepper left in the cupboard. You hate to buy large size things that you use so little while vacationing for a short time. Towels for the beach, beach chairs, toys for the water, cooler, umbrella, were in place. We didn't spend much time inside, just for sleeping and eating. Glad for the BBQ's on the grounds, we did cooking and made sandwiches for most meals. Everything was clean and neat. We know if we needed anything it was just a call away. The condo was well maintained. We hiked, beached, snorkeled and swam everyday. Up early run, beach to snorkel, lunch and off to hike. It was hard to leave. We already booked for 2022! I should tell you we had two condos next to each other and it was fun for the grandchildren to come over in the morning and eat breakfast with us. It was hard to leave. We only had one day of rain.

Lovely Holiday Break
The condo was excellent. Incredibly well equiped kitchen with a wide range of cooking and baking equipment. Lots of beach toys including chairs, boogie boards and beach umbrellas! The location off Kamaole III beach and a short walk to Kamaole II is great. The pool for the kids was clean and very popular with the family. Overall a great stay and highly recommended. One note - turn off the AC in the evening to enjoy the lanai (hot air blows) but really didn't need the AC with the cross breeze with the back doors and windows open.

Great layout and location
6 of us came to Maui and stayed at this unit. It was smartly laid out, finished nicely, and was very comfortable. The grounds were kept very clean and manicured, with a beach just across the street. In addition to the beach, there are many great restaurants within walking distance and it made for a very comfortable stay.

From the booking process to the check out process and everything in between, it was a breeze! PMI definitely made sure that we were taken care of. Great Place for a Group!
Came to Maui with my boyfriend, another couple, and one other individual for a friend’s destination wedding. This place was AMAZING! 3 full bathrooms, beach coolers, chairs, and umbrellas for us to use, and a fully stocked kitchen! We could not have been more pleased with our experience. Also, as a plus, Kamaole Sands has great facilities and a killer Mai Tai Pool Party on Wednesdays.

Such a beautiful unit. Perfect space for our whole family. Loved the views of the palm trees and ocean from our lanai. Across the street from Kam III. Finishes are all upgrades. The condo had all the amenities and necessities you will need. The only downfall was the air conditioner did not work well. The two downstairs bedrooms stayed cool with the doors closed. The upstairs room, living room, kitchen area was hot even if we opened the doors and windows for a breeze, the heat from the lanai made it worse. Other than that, the condo was amazing!

Lived up to the expectations!
The room was a very spacious for 8 adults, because nobody felt on top of each other. The kitchen was great cooking and had every utensil and plate that we needed. They have laundry. And it also came with a whole bunch items for the Beach and pool. This rental made our stay in Maui amazing! We will definitely be back.

Great. Everything went smoothly, except a couple of things. The TV in the main living room didn't work and we discovered it was related to a light switch. Would have been nice to know ahead of time. Also, an alarm was sounding and thought it was the fire alarm. Would have been nice to know there are alarms under the sinks when moisture appears as we were totally unaware of this. Really lovely place. Loved the balcony overlooking the pool and ocean. We had lots of ants, but were warned about that. We would come back! Loved the place.

Great vacation at a wonderful location
The space was great for our family vacation! We had 6 adults and kiddos and we didn’t not feel cramped at all. The location is amazing - close walk to restaurants and a great beach. The property was beautiful and well maintained. They provided us with all the things we needed for our trip (booster seat, pack n play, beach chairs, boogie boards, pool noodles, beach towels etc). Any questions or concerns I had before or during the trip I would just email Matthew and he responded so quickly! I did experience the same issues as others had commented on: (1) one of the 6 chairs at the dining table sinks in when you sit on it - I didn’t mind (just made sure my husband sat on it instead of me HA!) & (2) When the air con was on it blew out hot air on the lainai so it was too hot to sit in the chairs closest to doors where the vents were. We just made sure the AC was off when wanted to have a sit or when it was on we use it as a dryer and lay out damp swimsuits/towels on the chairs. In the end these were little things and overall this was a great place to stay & exactly what our families needed.

Great complex- super location - the suite is very nice.

I spent spring vacation at the Kamole Sands this year. The experience here was very nice, very convenient and accessible with much to do.

Summer Visit
We stayed at building 5, unit 405 because we have a family of 5 and the 3 bed - 3 bath suite was going to give us the most room. It was very spacious and although on the high end of pricey, very well worth the cost. The unit was clean properly appointed. We had stayed for 11 nights so we had to replenish some of the consumables like toilet paper and laundry detergent, but that's OK. The only complaint for the homeowner to fix: the chairs for the kitchen table (inside) are in gross disrepair: two have loose/broken legs and the seat cushions are very uncomfortable. Hopefully they can fix/replace those for the next tenants. We loved it there otherwise and would book it again without hesitation.

Beautiful condo, walking distance to beach
This was a beautiful space, enough for our party of 7. Two twin beds were in a loft space and the sofa was also a sleeper. The air conditioner worked well but only lasted six hours at a time so sometimes it got warm overnight but this was mostly not a problem. Plenty of amenities including 7 tommy Bahama chairs and ample beach towels. We did not use the boogie boards or umbrella. Two coolers were found in the closet. Washer and dryer both worked wonderfully. We would stay here again for sure!

What a GREAT place to stay!!
When we arrived everything was clean and picked up and the pictures on the website are very true and accurate. We did have a water alarm that was chirping and needed a new battery. Someone from the front desk brought up a battery within about 15 min. There is a great view of the pool from the lanai and the ocean is across the main road. The grounds were beautifully kept with fountains and many different kinds of flowers. The only negative was the AC vent on the lanai was blowing hot air so you couldn't sit out there very long. I would strongly recommend this rental to anyone going to Maui!!

Was not disappointed
Our rental experience was great. The place was exactly how it looked. I traveled with 7 other people so we were concerned space was going to be tight, but there was never an issue. The sofa bed was a bit more uncomfortable than we imagined to sleep on so I would try to avoid that if possible. The condo is fully equipped with great beach supplies and the kitchen had everything we needed and then some. The deck has a perfect view of the water and the resort. It was about a 5 min walk to the pool/hot tub and a 10 min walk to the ocean. The area is very safe and the resort is heavily monitored at night. Thanks, PMI for a great stay.

Great location
This three bedroom is on the fourth floor but with the elevator very close it was no problem. We appreciated the beach towels, chairs, umbrellas and boogie boards. There was lots of room for the 7 of us. Beds were very comfortable. Lots of dishes etc. We only wished there was an additional cutting board. We did take advanatage of a full kitchen to have some home cooked meals. Any questions I had, Matt replied to very quickly. The property is centrally located and the views of the ocean shown in the photos were the beautiful views we woke up to daily. If I were to suggest any updates it would be deck furniture. We found we often brought out a kitchen chair for morning coffee. We had a great dinner at cafe o'lei as well as paia fish market in Kihei. We had a fabulous time. Love keawakapu beach which is a just a beach over from kamaole 3. Snorkel rentals were very affordable from the concierge at the pool.

Nice Condo
Everything went well through the entire process. The condo is situated in the middle of the community with ocean views on one side, Mt. Haleakala on the other. Kam 3 beach park is across the street while a little grocery is around a mile down the street. We all liked the unit and are planning a return trip this same time in 2018.

A perfect vacation!
Vacationing with daughter, husband, two grandsons and daughter’s in laws required just the right place and we found it! The main floor bedrooms were spacious and well appointed. With two bathrooms on that floor, everyone could spread out and feel at home. The twin beds in the loft were comfortable and the bathroom up there was large and convenient. The sofa bed in the living room was comfortable for the teenager but. might not be for a larger adult. The condo was convenient to the elevator and the view from the lanai was amazing. Sunsets over the ocean every night. The only drawback was that the air conditioners vented to the lanai, making it too hot to sit out there if they were on. But that wasn’t a problem in the mornings or evenings. The kitchen was appropriately stocked with what you would generally use to fix a meal, including a coffee maker. Overall, we couldn’t have asked for more!! I would definitely recommend.

Bliss in Maui
My family and I very much enjoyed our stay at Kamaole Sands in Maui. The condo was well equipped and very comfortable. We had an issue with the plumbing and the management company worked to get it fixed quickly.
The beds were confortable and the bedrooms were well separated. The air conditioners were on timers that had to be turned periodically. If you did not wake up in the night to turn them, you woke up very warm.
The Kihei location is walking distance to the beach and a number of Kihei spots. We found it very easy to navigate the town and get to the airport and all of the activities that we planned including snorkeling, deep sea fishing, spa visit, ziplining and a helicopter ride.
The grounds were expansive and filled with amenities including a very nice pool and spa. We took advantage of the gas BBQ grills several times during our stay.
Would highly recommend this condo!

Awesome Maui Vacation
We were very happy with our first experience of renting a vacation condo. It was well equipped with kitchen utensils, beach towels, cooler, boogie boards, beach chairs and umbrella (there was a pin missing from the base of the umbrella, but we were able to find a wire to hold it together). The beds were very comfortable and the condo was perfect for us, our kids and two grandchildren. The location was perfect to the beach and the view was amazing. We appreciated that prior to our arrival the property manager ensured that there was a playpen and booster seat for our youngest grandson to use in the condo when we arrived. There was a broken chair on the lanai which the property manager was aware of but were told we could continue to use it. It did break more when we were there, which made it unusable. The property manager was very good at responding to our inquiries before and during our stay and he did everything he could to make our stay very enjoyable. We will definitely try to stay in this same unit if we return to Maui.

The accommodations were excellent the condo was clean and had all the kitchen appliances and utensils. Plenty of beach towels, beach chairs, boogie boards and toys. The grounds were emasculate and pools and spas were always fresh and clean each day. We would diffidently consider staying in this unit the next time we visit Maui. The only downside was when the air conditioner was on it vented the exhaust on the lanai making it unconfutable to enjoy sitting outside.

Wonderful holiday at 5-405 Kamaole Sands
My husband and I and son, daughter-in-law and granddaughter had a terrific holiday while staying in this unit. The location was perfect for families with children due to the proximity of the beach and the pool areas for kids and adults. The condo had plenty of toys and beach accessories for adults and children. The condo was clean, well supplied and very attractively furnished. It had a very pretty view from the lanai which we used constantly. I would definitely go back to this unit and Kamaole Sands. Our only complaint was the lack of recycling facilities in the development.

Great Condo!
This condo was perfect for our week vacation with adult children. Wonderful location, loved the pool area and Kamaole Beach across the road. They have a blinking light crosswalk to make it safe. Great restaurants within walking distance. The condo's beds are very comfortable. Living room, dining area and lanai were also comfortable. Lots of beach gear with chairs!

Perfect family vacation rental!!
For a family of 6 plus grandma and grandpa, this place was perfect! Plenty of room for everyone. The beach was right across the road and we appreciated the provided beach toys, cooler, beach towels, chairs and umbrella. Can't beat the location! The view of the ocean was gorgeous! We will definitely stay here again!

Perfect!
We have stayed in numerous condos in Kihei and this property and unit is the best by far. The gardens are beautifull, the pool and amenities are clean and well maintained. The location is perfect for walking to the beach, shopping and restaurants.
The unit is pristine, the furniture and decor are new and attractive. The unit overlooks the pool, garden and ocean views.
The agent responded promptly to an issue we raised and rectified the situation immediately. We had a wonderful time here and are sure to return.
