Perfect family condo
My family of five enjoyed the condo immensely for 12 nights. It might be the best in Kamaole Sands, in terms of layout, lanai view and location.

Loved it!
We had a great time basing our vacation from this property. Condo was clean, comfortable and very well equipped with everything we needed for beach days - which was a great surprise. Location across from beach was awesome. Only nitpicky thing would be while the unit has a great view, you are right above the pool. During our stay, it was insanely loud from about noon to 10p. Didn't wreck anything however, as they enforce the 10p quite time very strictly.

Overall , really enjoyed our stay! Great view , with lots of space. The unit was perfect for our family and we enjoyed being close to great beaches and restaurants! The only downfall was the kids hot tub was not hot at all - apparently the staff were working on it , but in the meantime the kids were still not allowed in the “adult” hot tub. It was disappointing as the weather was a bit mild and the kids could have really used a warm up :)

Loved this Property
Beautiful property. It’s definitely a resort feel. Check in was seamless and staff was very friendly! This condo has a beautiful beach view from the distance. Lovely location to watch the sunset! There were 6 of us that stayed and it was very comfortable, it didn’t feel too crowded. Plenty of beach towels and 4 beach chairs that worked properly. There were only two things I didn’t love but weren’t a huge deal. I noticed the bath towels and wash clothes smelled rancid and then the cooler we took to the beach had a lot of sand on it, which made me feel like it may not have been sanitized properly. However the rental did have a washer and dryer so we could wash the towels to get the smell out and it had disinfectant spray and a microfiber towel cloth so I was able to clean up the cooler real easy. Overall I loved the location and the condo was clean and tidy when we checked in. I would definitely book this property again!

Lovely stay for our family
We found this condo to be perfect for our family. There was a great selection of beach toys for our little one, and a life jacket which was great. Boogie boards, chairs and lots of beach towels made for easy enjoyment of the beach in front of the condo which ended up being our favorite!
The a/c lanai issue was unfortunate, but we still enjoyed the view, which over looked the pool making it really easy for our older kids to have a little freedom without mom worrying too much.
The condo was clear and well stocked, and the staff and grounds were wonderful.
Would stay again in a heartbeat!

Great location and equip with everything you need!
My family stayed at this condo in Kihei which is located in South Maui. The location is great and close to grocery stores, eateries, and a short walk to Kamaole Beach. The condo itself was clean upon arrival and was large enough for my family of 6. My parents stayed in the upstairs master bedroom while the 4 kids stayed in the bedroom that contained 2 full sized beds. There are plenty of towels and a washer/dryer if you need to wash your clothes (they provided detergent and dryer sheets!) The condo came equip with beach equipment (4 chairs, umbrella, boogie boards, beach towels, and a cooler) which was super helpful for all our beach days. They were in excellent condition and enhanced our experience. We prepared several meals in the kitchen which contained all the utensils and dishware that you need. The condo is located on a property that has grills, so you can grill outside. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and had everything we needed! It's in a great location and good for a large family to stay at.

Although this condo is a little older, it's well maintained and very clean. The unit is well equipped with everything we needed. The beds were comfortable and we especially appreciated the assortment of beach items available. We would definitely stay again.

Fantastic unit. Clean and room for what we needed. Appreciated the two beach umbrellas. They came in handy. Lanai was a bit warm from air conditioning unit in the closet so wasn’t able to sit on balcony on that side. Sunset view was amazing from unit each night. Would stay again

Great vacation rental!
We really enjoyed our stay. The rental was well stocked with everything we needed (including beach chairs, beach towels, and boogie boards). The lanai had great views of the sunsets and we were able to see humpback whales from the beach. The location was perfect for restaurants and touring the island.

Our family of 5 had a fantastic time in this condo at Kamaole Sands. The condo was very clean, the kitchen was extremely well stocked (including a blender) and we really appreciated all of the towels and beach toys provided. We had a very small issue and Matt responded immediately and fixed it. Would highly recommend!

Paradise by Kam III
This is a wonderful unit at Kamaole Sands. My family and I have stayed at this resort many times and this is now one of our favorite units to call our home away from home in paradise. The room was recently remodeled, exceptionally clean, and included everything you needed for time at the beach or pool. The resort is perfect for families and is centrally located in Kihei. I was especially pleased with the A/C’s in the unit - they cooled the place down quickly after being out in the sun and heat during the day!

We loved our stay here. The condo was clean and well equipped. It had beautiful views of the swimming pool and ocean. We loved this location. It was convenient to everything. The beach park across the street was a fun area to picnic with our children and swim in the ocean. We would stay jere again.

Beautiful condo with a gorgeous view of the pool. There is AC throughout but due to the high vaulted ceilings, the upstairs loft is warm in the day. There is a great portable AC unit in the downstairs bedroom.

Overall we had a great stay at Kamaole Sands. Check in was quick and friendly. The grounds were beautiful and maintained well. The vacation rental was well furnished and everything we needed was available. Everything we needed for the beach, from boogie boards, beach chairs, umbrellas and a cooler. Nothing was missing. There even was a bottle opener attached to the cooler. There were sand toys and much more that we didn’t even use.
Did I mention the view yet? We could watch the sunset from the lanai every night if we wanted to. Best view is from the beach only a 5 minute walk away.
It’s conveniently located on South Kīhei road close to restaurants and shops. It was only a short drive to a grocery store (Foodland - best value).
Staying in Kīhei was a great central location that allowed us to explore most of the island.
Beds were comfortable and the air conditioning was very welcomed at night. There were a couple of very minor issues with a light switch and window that were pretty much instantly fixed when we contacted Matt at PMI. Matt was great to deal with and always answered our questions in a timely manner. We would stay again.

Excellent and convenient rental!
We had a wonderful stay are Kamaole Sands 5-409! The condo was gorgeous, the location was central and beautiful, and the overall trip was one to remember! Having young children, we were often at the condo for the night by dinner time but managed to enjoy many relaxing evenings on the deck overlooking the pool and ocean. The condo itself was clean, had all the necessities, and well maintained. By keeping both doors open as often as possible and the fans on, the condo stayed a comfortable temperature. We would return again!

Great condo!
This is the second time my family and I have stayed in this condo. It is very clean, has a great location and is well equipped for all your vacation needs. Great Unit
We had a great experience staying in 5-409. There were 4 adults and two kids staying in the unit and we never felt cramped. The unit is amazingly well stocked- has everything you need in the kitchen and has all of the beach supplies you would ever need. We would definitely stay again!

Modern, clean, well equipped
We really enjoyed our stay at this unit. The property managers were easy to deal with and very helpful with any questions that came up. The property was very clean when we arrived which is so important! The kitchen was well supplied, the beds comfortable, lots of towels and the items in the lanai was great to use at the beach instead of buying there. View is great. A bit noisy at night as people are in the pool til 10 but not a big problem.

Home away from home
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this rental. Clean, modern and everything we needed/wanted. Grounds are exceptionally kept. This rental is right by the elevator, which was helpful with two elderly individuals in our party. Short walking distance to the beach, where we were able to see turtles and octopus when snorkeling. Wonderful views of sunset and sunrise off of the lanai, since we were able to look straight out to the ocean. Highly recommend, and we look forward to staying again on our next trip to Kihei. Maui Vacation
We enjoyed the condo very much. The reservation process was easy and the unit was as advertised and in good condition. The only issue we had was with the bugs in the kitchen. We were careful to keep the counters clean and free of food, but the little critters were there. They were hard to see with the black granite countertops, but none the less, they were there. I know this is the tropics, but maybe a little spray when the condo is cleaned would help. Other than that, the place was just right for our family.

Well maintained, spacious unit with lots of AC!
This unit was extremely well maintained. Had two AC units that kept the entire condo very cool. There were also two full beds in the front bedroom instead of twins which it seemed like most other units had. We felt that it was modern and nicely updated to our liking. It was conveniently located right across the street from the beach with several other beaches within a 5 min drive. Lots of food locations close by too. Had an amazing stay.

This condo was amazing. It had everything you could need. A fully equipped kitchen, washer and dryer, AC, and a beautiful view of the ocean. They provided a crib and a high chair. Also they downstairs bedroom had it’s own personal ac.

Vacation Week of Fun
The vacation rental was very clean and well maintained. The description stated that there was snorkel gear available however it should be noted that it was for children not adults. Also we were only given 1 small bar of soap which we ran out of half way through our stay and was told by the front desk we could by one for $1.00. Maybe you should say bring your own body soap.

All of our units are equipped with a great selection of beach gear including sun umbrella, cooler, beach chairs, beach toys, boogie boards, but not snorkel gear (these may have been left from prior guests). Perfect Spot to Explore Maui
Kihei was the perfect spot for our family of four, first time visit to Hawaii. The unit was clean, comfortable, nice location in complex, beautiful view of ocean, sunsets, pool. Beach towels were nice - could use a couple of new snorkel sets, but they are easy enough to rent. Beds were comfortable, a/c was very nice. We walked down to the beach every night for sunset, and used the beaches during the day. Lots of places to eat, shop in Kihei.

Best Unit at Kamaole Sands
Our family loves to vacation in Maui. This was our fifth stay at Kamaole Sands. This unit and experience was by far the best. The condo is in a great location, quiet just behind the pool area with an amazing ocean view. The unit was clean, well-equipped, up to date and comfortable. Even the pull out sofa bed was comfortable. Our family of 5 had a wonderful time. The owners thought of everything from the great tvs, sound system, boogie boards, beach chairs to laundry detergent. They accommodated our early check-in. And when we did have an issue with no hot water for showers, I emailed the condo representative and had a response within 10 minutes. Easy fix with resetting the breaker for the hot water tank. Everything was perfect. This will be our go-to accommodations in Maui from now on.

Perfect Ocean Views!
This unit was perfect for our recent visit to Maui. With ocean views from the balcony, we had perfect seating for the famous Maui sunsets! The unit was clean and had everything we needed. The WiFi was surprisingly good. Having a loft was perfect so we could open the top windows and listen to the birds in the morning - or shut them if we wanted quiet. The unit is perfectly located close to the pool and close to beaches and Kihei restaurants. Matt and Tonya, the property managers, made our booking easy and made our visit everything we wanted it to be. We would definitely look to book with them again. Kamaole Sands was perfect for us

Great condo, Great location!
My family and I just returned from two weeks at Kamaole Sands. This has been a tradition for our family for the past ten years. This year we stayed in building 5-409 and this beautiful 2 bedroom condo is exactly as advertised!! Parking is conveniently located near the elevator and the room is close by as well. The condo is beautifully updated and has everything needed for a fantastic vacation. The view from the lanai is truly special. It overlooks the pool area and provides incredible sunset views without having to leave the convenience of your condo. Matt from PMI Maui was great to deal with and responded to any questions quickly. My family had a great stay at Kam Sands 5-409 and look forward to staying there again soon!!!

Maui vacation
We actually toured this condo the year before we rented it. We were very impressed with the updates, and that is what convinced us to rent it for the following years vacation. The condo is very comfortably furnished, the kitchen is well appointed and the extras such as beach towels, beach chairs and kids sand toys were very much appreciated. The PMI rental process is streamlined and logical, with Matt and Tonya Tarasenko being excellent hosts. We are renting through PMI Maui next year as we are very pleased with all services provided by this company.
