Nice stay in Kihei
We have stayed in several suites at the Maui Banyan over the last 33 years. This one was better than many. Kitchen was well stocked with plates, cups and pots/pans for cooking. Also lots of bath towels, beach towels etc. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Suite was very clean on arrival. There were a few minor maintenance items which have been reported to the property management company, nothing that impacted the enjoyment of our time in Kihei. We had a few emails with property management before we arrived and they were prompt in their replies. One comment: it would be nice to have a small coffee table as there is nowhere to place a drink while sitting at one end of the couch.

We have stayed at the Mail Banyan several times, once in this unit. We enjoy the location, the view and the beautiful condo. We needed to contact the owner a few times and received responses within minutes. We will be back!

lovely place to stay
We had a great time at Aston at Maui Banyan. Convenient and easy with nice view. Our tvs had some issues and the staff did not know how to fix them, but overall it was a nice stay. 4 out of 5 for me

Great Central Location!
We love Kihei and this property's location was perfect. Right across from the beach and within walking distance of shopping and restaurants. We explored the island and could easily get where we wanted to go. It was a great family vacation!

Property is exactly as pictured - beautifully appointed 1Br, 2Bath, well maintained facility. Steps for Kam II. No complaints -- loved the included beach toys/umbrellas, there was something for everyone

E Komo Mai To Paradise!
This is our second stay at P405 & it will definitely not be our last! The suite is well kept, very clean, has all the bells & whistles one needs for a great stay, & super comfortable. Being that we were there in late October to early November, we were able to see the sunset from our balcony which was stunning. Further to that Maui Banyan is right across the street from Kam 2, so a few nights were spent on the beach watching the sun setting which was spectacular. We were sad to leave our new home away from home but look forward to our next trip there. PMI were wonderful to work with & very accomodating in making our trip happen, we appreciate all they did for us & highly recommend booking with them for a great stay.

Good location for access to Wailea and Kihea. Easy access to local beaches and food. Building is ok. Unit was good - good bed. All the amenities.

Maui Banyan stay
Our stay at the property overall was good. Parking on the top floor of the parking garage and was plentiful. The check-in process was easy and professional. Upon arrival the door was code as described in are rental agreement.
GOOD:
The property was clean and the air-conditioning running. This is a one-bedroom condo with 2 bathrooms with showers only (we really appreciated having 2 bathrooms). The king size bed (stiff but not overly stiff) and sheets where fresh and clean. The unit has 2 window air-conditioners which functioned well. The kitchen was stocked with pots, pans, lots of cups and glasses as well a complete knife set, and coffee maker. The microwave oven was clean and functioned well. The refrigerator was empty and clean. The stove was clean, but we didn't use it. Each room has a TV and basic cable. The Wi-Fi was strong and easy to connect too.
The Location of this property is its greatest strength. It's close 3 beaches (one across the street), shopping and numerous restaurants all with easy walking distant. A beach closet contained 2 chairs (backpack style), and umbrella, and numerous beach toys all in good condition.
The location was quiet at night. The grounds were well maintained. There are 2 pools with hot tubs which we did not use.
Not so good:
Air conditioning was loud and at waist level in the living room and bedroom making it cold for person sitting or sleeping near them. One night stand was broken (which we reported to property management) and nearly collapsed when we try to move it a little away from the bed. The couch and dining room cushions could use refreshing and were a bit warren. The screen door was difficult to open and needed replacement or fixing.
Overall:
The central location and the general good condition of the property is enough for us to recommend it for 2 people. It might seem small for 4 adults with lots of luggage but for parents with 2 children, it should be fine.

Living The Dream in Paradise
We were extremely pleased to stay at the Maui Banyan P405 as it was the perfect location in Kihei,right across the street from one of the best beaches Kamaole 2. It is within walking distance to shopping malls, bakeries(Maui Bread Co., excellent baked goodies) & some of the best restaurants in the area ( Cafe O'Lei, Coconuts, Penny Pizza & Pasta), & rental equipment for water activities & cycling. Great walking area as well as you can walk along the trail that overlooks the water from Kam 2 & 3, &/or walk down to Keawakapu Beach. Driving distances to Safeway & Foodland were close & even going to Kahului/OGG was only 15-20 minutes away. Going upcountry & to Lahaina/northwest side of the island was a breeze. This place has location, location, location!
The suite was very clean, nicely decorated & it had the bonus of two bathrooms! The kitchen was well equipped & the beach gear was extensive. It was great having two air conditioners (AC) & overhead ceiling fans but
the AC wasn't necessary at night as leaving the balcony doors open provided a nice breeze.
PMI was wonderful to deal with, the incorrect coffee filters were provided so we called them & they were kind enough to send someone over with the correct ones which we really appreciated. Kudos to PMI for amazing customer service!
Wish we could keep Maui Banyan P405 our little secret but when you're living the dream in paradise you have to share it, enjoy!

Our Maui Banyan condo was excellent! Perfect location, right across from the beach and ocean. Very easy walking distance to great bars, restaurants & shopping. Condo was very clean. Really enjoyed having everything we needed for a beach day provided. Very thoughtful extras - small bag of coffee, bath soap, shampoo, laundry detergent. Would definitely stay again!

convenient location w/ covered parking garage. appreciated the beach gear+towels. fridge was clean and spacious. comfy bed and nice partial ocean views. super quiet too.

My husband and I had an amazing time. Our stay was absolutely perfect. We loved that there was beach gear provided for us as it made the trip so much better and more prepared. The view from the balcony is incredible and we just fell in love with this space. We would definitely come back.

Comfortable and Convenient
The condo was very comfortable and nicely decorated. The view at sunset was incredible. The kitchen was stocked with anything we could have needed. We loved the central location that allowed us to explore other parts of the island without driving for hours. We also really appreciated the hospitality we recieved from PMI. We would definitely rent through them again.

Beautiful condo across the street from Kamaole ll
This was our second time renting this beautiful condo, so it felt a little like home❤️ There was coffee ready for us to make our first morning, along with laundry soap/softener for our laundry needs! They had a closet with beach chairs, boogie boards, beach towels, snorkeling gear etc... The view from the lanai is ocean/sunset, trees, flowers & you hear the singing of birds every morning❤️

Great Location in Kihei
Great Location. Unit was as described. Would definitely stay here again. Unit has 2 full bathrooms with showers in each which is helpful if you have a party of 4. Only issue was that there is a leaky A/C unit in the bedroom that needs service. The leak is on the outside of the room and it has a bucket to collect the excess water. It's not a deal breaker just noting that it needs to be repaired.

This unit in the Maui Banyan was beautiful. Very clean and the kitchen is totally stocked with pots & pans , utensils etc. It is in a great location in the complex. The hot tubs & pools are close by and you are right across the street from Kamaole Beach ii The unit faces south so there is no one behind you, so it’s a very private lanai and the sunsets are incredible . We will definitely stay there again !!

Fantastic condo!!
Really impressed with this condo especially the gorgeous sunset view from the balcony! It’s truly spectacular! Also watching the sun come up over the mountain in the morning was a real treat!! Just stunning! We had a great stay. Very well equipped with kitchen and beach gear. Can’t complain at all.

Super quiet with an amazing lanai!
We really enjoyed our stay here and the AC worked excellent. It was so quiet all the time. We loved the lanai and spent every morning and night out there enjoying the quiet and beautiful views in all directions. The condo was the perfect size for the 2 of us and having 2 full bathrooms was a bonus. We appreciated having beach chairs. The bed was a bit hard but to each his own. Would not hesitate to stay here again.
